The many benefits of double glazing include a warmer and comfortable home. Providing savings on energy bills which will not only help to protect our fragile ecosystem but you can do your bit for the green cause by being environmentally friendly.

Double glazing significantly improves noise reduction and condensation by creating a more insulated surface.

Our Reliable Windows and Doors are all fitted with the very latest security designs to keep your home safer. Our internal beading and lockable handles on all windows is just another great benefit of our double glazing.

All our frames are low maintenance and aesthetically pleasing to give a smart, stylish, thermally efficient and secure appeal to your property.

‘Misted up’ Double Glazed Units

One of the problems that can arise is the formation of condensation within the double glazed unit. Once you start to experience ‘misting up’ the unit becomes discoloured and quickly starts to lose its energy efficiency properties. At Reliable Windows and Doors we do all we can to stop this issue from occurring by supplying and fitting A rated units.

We use Low E glass which has a special coating applied to help with energy efficiency. The coating reflects the heat back into your room whilst allowing natural heat and sunlight to enter.

We use a warm edge spacer bar which replaces the traditional aluminium spacer boosting the thermal insulation of our windows. Warm edge spacer is made from a low heat conductive material and further enhance the thermal insulation levels

We use inert gas. We substitute the dehydrated air with an inert gas called Argon. This has a low thermal conductivity and makes a big difference to the performance of the unit, its efficiency and condensation levels.

Unfortunately once double glazing condensation occurs it cannot be rectified and you need to look at having the double glazed unit replaced. It is a good idea to get in touch with experts in the field who are keen to either prevent the condensation occurring in the first place or can deal with the existing condensation issue. You need to consider the quality of both the double glazing and the installation. Always make sure you go to a reputable supplier who is industry certified and has many years experience when you are purchasing double glazing for your property. This will ensure you get high performing units, peace of mind and protection.
